The Francophonie's economic mission allows us to truly see what exists and what can be transferred to other countries. In our sector, Canada has a level of maturity and expertise that interests the presidents of Chambers of Commerce from other participating countries, who are seeking advice on how to develop their businesses. This encourages local initiatives that generate wealth, employment, and food security.

By participating in the Francophonie economic mission in Romania, I was able to make some pivotal connections that marked a key milestone in the expansion of my business in Europe, culminating in the signing of two ongoing partnerships with companies in Central Europe.

The Francophonie's economic mission to Asia enabled us to meet with a Cambodian biomass fuel company that accepted a joint venture contract for the establishment of a pilot biomass briquette plant in Ankarafantsika. The outcome of our participation in the mission far exceeded our expectations: a joint venture partner, other technical partners (packaging and service providers), buyers for our products, and legal counsel to assist in preparing the joint venture agreement.
